Title: Build Sheet/Options List from Ford
Post by: cougarcragar on July 14, 2006, 05:13:50 PM
I sent an email to Ford requesting an options list for my '86. After one phone call and over a month of waiting, I got this in the mail today.
Sorry for the poor quality; I took it with my camera.
The description for the seats is interesting. Smoke leather and Montana vinyl...

Wow, that's pretty cool. Did you have to pay for it, or did they send it to you for free?

Does anyone still have the web address Or even a toll free number) to go to to request one of these? The thread that had a link was lost on the old ezboard forum, I got one for my 80 but want one for my 82.

It was 100% free. I remember getting one for my '88 XR7, but I haven't seen it in years. It's a shame I lost it.

I went to the Ford website and found their contact section. From there I used a series of info boxes to enter my information, including the VIN number, which I think helps a lot. Let them know what you want and supply as much information as possible.
I even got a phone call from one of their represenatives informing me that the build sheet was in the mail, although it didn't get here for two months.
