Title: Clutch question
Post by: 88turbo on July 10, 2006, 09:25:09 PM
I installed my clutch back in february and now I am getting a clicking sound when I let out on the pedal.  I used the Napa clutch kit.  could there be something wrong with my clutch fork?  if so is there a way to replace it without pulling the tranny?

You put in a new T/O bearing , right?

You have to pull the trans to change a fork. Last I heard, Vintage Auto was out of the 87-88 forks. Don't know if anybody else has them or not.

t/o bearing is new, everything was replaced from flywheel to t/o and pilot when I was in there the fork was missing one of the clips wondering if that could be the noise...    it comes and goes :dunno:
