Title: Newly purchased eye candy
Post by: slicksport88 on July 08, 2006, 11:38:49 PM
Just purchased these from Brother's Performance. Baer 13" fronts and 13" upgrade to the rear. Since I switched to 17" rims i've been having the itch to do something about the rotors since their so visible now, especially when the factory rears are dwarfed by the front. More pics to come once their installed.

So when you stop, will you be giving change or keeping it all??

Hope all goes well

cool, whats the scoop on the rears? jusr rotors and an adaptor plate? does it use factory callipers? cobra or sn95 brackets?
ive got a whole extra  m-2300-k kit im going to be looking to unload. i was going to use it to offset some 4 piston brembos for the front.

They use GT calipers and brackets, and come with an adapter bracket. I was looking at that setup myself.

Uhm... what are you using in the front? Are those Baer rotors just Cobra replacements?

Yep..im running a 97 GT rear. All the bracket does is relocate the factory caliper to make room for the larger rotor.

Im running 94 Cobra's in the front. The Baer rotor is simply an aftermarket replacement.

Those are awesome.  I don't think there's anything crazy about having 13's all around.  It's always looked off to me to see small disks on the rear even though it's unecessary.  I mean it can't actually cost that much more to manufacture the slightly larger disk.  It should be law to make them all the same size.

I was wondering if you can turn those like regualr rotors if they get grooves or warped a little?  I was thinking about getting some drilled or sloted rotors for my fronts this year but I was worried about getting them turned.  jason.
