Title: interior shots (update 7/12)
Post by: Nate on July 07, 2006, 04:09:07 PM
well, i changed my interior colors around to red and black. i replaced all the blue stuff with black, and from the line above the door pull up, is black and the carpet is red. now i need to figure out something with the seats. svo seats will be going in as soon as they get apulstered, but i'll need a color to pick for em. i was thinking red and black also, but i dont want to over do it. any ideas?

Looks good! About the seats.. What I would do, is have the part that you touches your body red, and the back part black.

I think he meant red inserts and black around the outside there. That would look better than vice versa I think.

I love the black interior! I have always wondered why they never made a black interior in the Birds or Cougars.

I'd go with the red one in the middle.

I tried Alex's idea and I couldn't get it to look right so I did the black inserts instead. :)

What did you do to get that black?  I love the black and red theme.  I think what you have will work.  Maybe doing the headrest in black would help break up the red a little more.  Good work.  Jason.

i used the darkest interior pannles i could find (dark blue) and painted them with that fusion paint in semi gloss black, used lots of paint so hopefuly they wount scratch up. then had the headliner re done, and sunvisors and dome light from a black interior SC i found that got wrecked. o and the rear deck is black too along with the 3rd brake light. and dash cap/speeker grills.

i like the black with red insert but then you would need to do new carpet so it flowed

the red with black looks kickass it the car with the red carpet and flows great

I like the black with the red insert as well.
I don't think you need black carpeting though. I think if you went with black carpet, it would be a little too much considering the whole top half of the interior is black.

The red carpet with black floormats looks just fine.
It should flow just fine if you do the back seat to match the front.
Just my:2c:

I have to go with the black with red insert also.  If not it becomes too much red.  Red carpet with black mats and it does flow in my opinion.  You are on to something.  It will look great.  Jason.
