i have been gathering some parts and thursday after some 3 wheeler riding i tore down my pickup and started the fuel injection conversion. monday instead of working i drove it for the first time. i did the megasquirt thing and tomorrow i am taking it to get exhaust put on it (who would have thought it to be loud with about 6" of pipe off the manifolds:evilgrin: ) any way if any of you are thinking about doing this....dont its expensive and takes alot of work:nono: but it is cool when done. any way now neither of my cars have carbs and i am loving that.:tg:
Wouldn't it have been easier and cheaper to just use the EFI setup off of a 87 and up 300?
Cool. Fill us in on some more of the details when you get time.
i did other than the computer which needs to be custom programable to fit the next stage of the project...turbo.
the updates on this for today are i got exhaust and an air filter put on it and tryed to do some more tuning but havent gotten it perfect yet. i will get some befor and after pics of the engine bay up here for you all soon but right now i need to go do other stuff here on this internet thig so i cant right now.
i almost forgot i am going to be able to drive it to work tomorrow i think.
Cool. You will pick up hella gas miliage too I would think.
can i have your lower intake and carb setup? pleeeeeeeeease?
he did it on a 300 six john.
the first person to either come pick them up or pay shipping can have the intake and carb. it is for a 300 inline and its all in good condition.
