Title: cleaning the enginebay (do i need this?)

well guys im trying to eliminate some clutter.....

as the title says.... do i need these gadgets for the car to function properly?

its all smog related    isnt it?.... and im gonna try and get rid of smog..... all except for the pump at the moment...

help me out...

Egr on the left and tab/tad on the right.
 
They are two unrelated systems.
 
You will throw codes with them unplugged.

Myself, I'd keep the EGR solenoid but throw the TAB/TAD/Smog pump if they aren't needed for emissions.

Should run fine without any of those attached though. EGR will stay closed and Air bypass will send air through the silencer ports/keeping it from going to the diverter valve. Not sure how you'd eliminate all the smog stuff, but as long as the check valves after the TAD valve are working right/closed, just taking it all out will work fine.
