Title: Master Cylinder question
Post by: slowfoxbird on June 28, 2006, 11:54:30 AM
I know this has been discussed before, but I am just trying to make sure  I get the right parts.  If I am using '96 Mustang brakes front and rear, then I should use an SN95 master cylinder since they were all designed to work together correct?  And of course an adjustable prop valve.

you can use the sn95, svo, or 93 corba master cylinder. i personally use an svo master cylinder with a 5.0 mustang brake booster.

Cool, I will use the SN95 because it fits into the budget better.

Hmm, cannot belive I never updated this.  The car has been running with '96 SN95 brakes frt and rear with 94-95 spindles up front with Maximum Motorsports C/C plates.  I am also running an SN95 master cylinder, and an adustable prop valve to the back.  The car stops ok, but I feel it could be better and am wondering if there is a better option for a booster.  I have a feeling that the booster was never replaced before I bought the car in '03, and I know I have never replaced it.  I am thinking about putting in an SN95 booster from a '94-95 GT or Cobra, because as far as I can tell, they both use the same booster.  Anyone have any thoughts on this?
