Title: Northeast still has dumbest drivers

Haha, doesn't surprise me either.
I remember when I was in drivers-ed a girl that was in my class was coming in from her last day of driving. Upon making her left hand turn into the college, she t-boned a Mustang that had the right of way driving through the intersection. I was walking to class when I heard the tires screech and saw it happen. She ripped the front fender, lights and bumper off of the BRAND NEW 1,500 mile Contour the school just bought. The car drifted to a stop and she just got out and with her head down, handed the instructor the keys. :giggle:
But really, people need to be retested every few years. I bet it would cut down on a lot of accidents (well for atleast those who are unaware of the laws).

I got a 90% I missed:
If you have trouble seeing other vehicles because of dust, precipitation, or smoke blowing across the roadway, you should drive slower and turn on your_______: a. Parking lights b. Interior lights c. Headlights
And
On a sharp curve, you should use your brakes to slow your vehicle: a. During the entire time you drive through a curve b. Before you enter the curve c. Just after you enter the curve

Wow, if that's the test people took, that's pretty sad. I missed the one about the high beams because I've never heard anything about where you're "supposed" to use your high beams or not. Anyway I got a 95%. Easy.

95. Got the arrow in the middle wrong, #18. Not sure if I've ever seen that in Ohio or not. Some of those answers are pretty funny.

Got 70% . i Didn´t understand very well, i needed the dictionary, but it says "A score of 70% or better is considered passing on a state written drivers test"
I failed at: 6,7,8,9 and i did not know the meaning of the orange symbol, "slow moving vehicle"...
Maybe next time i´ll do better...

Our signs have an extra short vertical line that graphically shows the soon-to-be-ending lane, not just the one bent line like theirs.

Basically, If you're not making oncoming traffic blind, you're OK. Here are the specifics. It aint pretty:
Quote
Headlamps required pursuant to the provisions of subdivision two of this section may be of the multiple beam type designed to produce more than one distribution of light or of the single beam type designed to produce only one distribution of light. Provided that, whenever a vehicle approaching from ahead is within five hundred feet, or when approaching a moving vehicle from the rear and within two hundred feet of the same, the headlamps, if of the multiple beam type, or the auxiliary front facing lamps, if the vehicle is so equipped, shall be operated so that dazzling light does not interfere with the driver of the approaching vehicle, or the vehicle being approached, and, whenever the highway is so lighted or traffic thereon is such that illumination of the highway for more than two hundred feet ahead of the vehicle by lights on such vehicle is unnecessary or impracticable, the headlamps, if of the multiple beam type, or the auxiliary front facing lamps, if the vehicle is so equipped, shall be operated with the lowermost distribution of light in use. Nothing contained in this subdivision shall be construed to prevent the use of flashing high beams to signify an intention to pass a vehicle or vehicles when two or more vehicles are traveling in the same direction, the operation of any headlamp as defined in paragraph d of subdivision two of this section, nor shall it apply to any auxiliary front facing lamp permitted to be displayed only on an authorized emergency vehicle.

I'm pretty sure utah has the worst drivers. In the army my dad saw drivers from germany, vietnam and now 49 states and still says we have the worst right here in kaysville. And i can vouch for that one too. I was in a right turn only lane turning right onto a road with a total of 5 lanes. 2 north, 2 south and 1 left turn. I was facing east turning south. Now some jackass facing west in his left turning lane with a semi truck following him decides to make an illegal lane change in an intersection and cut right in front of me, and THEN stop dead in traffic because he wants to go to the burger joint on that corner. Now i don't have enough time to stop because he slammed on his brakes to get the burger, and that semi from behind him is bearing down on us. So my only options are to either willingly rearend this moron, (and thus destroy my cougar) or take my chances with cutting off a semi truck. So just like any of you would do to save a beautiful car, i cut off the truck and got through without even a scratch. The semi didn't even slow down. All that because one idiot decided he really wanted a burger.

I don't care what a test says, the southeast has the worst dumbest and most careless drivers. Actually most southeast states had worse scores on there anyway! Ha! They don't even have to deal with snow down here either!

I got 95% which I think is good. I got the smoke, dust, headlight question wrong. I said parking lights because headlights will reflect back at the driver when driving through thick smoke or snow. But I understand they are going for the "headlights make your car more visible angle", which is true.

I got a 100 and I am from the North East. I lived in the south for 20 years and would have to argue they are worse drivers, now that I think of it though, most of the people where we were in Fl were from the north so it probably is right

The worst drivers by far are NYC Taxi drivers and certain TLC drivers aren’t to far behind The movie elf summed it up when Will Farrell said "the yellow ones don’t stop”. They are all off the boat immigrants who just got the drivers license and for what ever reason NYS DMV lets them drive a Taxi. Next time you in NYC and you see an accident I bet you its ether a yellow taxi or Lincoln town car/TLC.

Here's a good one. I've been driving for about 2 years now, but I'm still flumoxed over this. When you're making a right turn, and the light is green, and there are people on the other side of the intersection making left turns, who has the right of way? You or them?

You have the right of way on right turns. Any traffic that is crossing the traffic patern must yeild.

I got a 95 but i don't agree with it. The first question is.
1. Where should you park when you need help after your tire suddenly deflates while driving on a highway? (Select one)
a. In the right hand lane
b. Off the pavement
c. Where your car will be visible for 200 feet from the front
How are you going to jack up a car thats in the grass?
