Title: Shelby Cobra Car show(56k beware)
Post by: chrome302jr on June 25, 2006, 03:52:36 PM
Just west of me here in Columbus they had a Shelby Cobra gathering in London. The most Cobras Ive ever seen, they blocked off the streets and did burnouts and 1/4mile blasts. Ive always liked the Shelby Cobra's and I had the chance to do some research on some of the many kits out there on the market...Who knows.

I'd always like a 427 AC style body Cobra with a 385 serries 514 V8 under the hood. Sure it wouldn't handle for  but man you could drive it sideways all day:D

That's ALOT of kit cars! Did any real ones show up? I really like the Daytona coupes, that's what I would build (with a sc'd LS1 just to piss people off!)

Tell me about it, I drooled over that red daytona for a while.

Im in Hilliard just northwest of Columbus. My car isnt here though, still in VA and because my dad needs it more than I do, it will probably stay there for now.
