From cougarcruisin, just yesterday:

Thx for the update on the gfx. Looks to be all correct except where it says "they allow local pickup". I was told that they are a middle man and the kits are made by a company in Texas. I have the name but not on hand. They shipped the ONE BIG HUGE BOX from texas on a freight truck. It was rather pricy since the truck delivered it right to my doorstep. Turns out it was the only box on the truck at the time??? Odd.
But the owner told me that they only ship it to your house from texas and that pickup isn't an option or a cheaper option.

As for the kit fitment, the sideskirts fit rather well. Rear piece fits nicely. But since the kit is for the tbird it has the pointy tip in the front. I'm trying to learn how to do fiberglassing but have no idea where to start. SO i'm trying to learn before i mess around. Wishme luck.

Cougarcruisin like myself has an 88 cougar. I pointed him to the bodykit for his car and there are a couple different
companies that offer it. Like he said it does come on freight truck and it's one huge box but the company that I got it
from wouldn't deliver to a residential address they would only deal with automotive places so I had it delivered to where I
got my car painted. I bought my kit from
http://www.aeromotive-inc.com/products.php?reset=1&make=25&model=121&year=1988&cat=3 (http://"http://www.aeromotive-inc.com/products.php?reset=1&make=25&model=121&year=1988&cat=3"), and like coolcats says
Cougarcruisin got it from http://www.wickedbodies.net/83-90-Tbird.htm (http://"http://www.wickedbodies.net/83-90-Tbird.htm"). My bill came to $529 delivered so
delivery was only $30 because the kit was $499 but that doesn't really help you because your looking for an 86 correct?
Well wickedbodies doesn't show a picture of the 83-86 kit which makes me think it could be the same kit but don't hold me
on that.

As for the fitting I didn't use the side skirts because I had some on from the previous kit I had so I wouldn't know but I'd take
Cougarcruisin's word on it. The rear does fit nicely.

The front is the only problem but all you really need to do is fill in the point.

You may have seen these pics already but I don't have any updated ones since my mechanic still has the car because he's been
too busy to put any time into it but he's hoping to get to it this weekend or next week so I may be able to post new pics soon.
These are the only recent pics I have and they aren't that great, they were quick shots with my phone.

Anyway if your really interested in getting the kit I'd contact wickedbodies and find out a little more about the 86 kit and if
its the same go with the cheaper company. Good luck and good luck to you also Cougarcruisin, post pics when your done.

Spaz my front piece has a much much pointier nose.. i mean this gap is BIG.

I paid i believe all together 499 for the kit and 250 shipping? I know it was almost 800.

800, .  I wonder why mine was so much cheaper.  I didn't put the bodykit on myself so the gap could've been bigger at one point.  When I ordered the kit though I did tell them it was for a cougar and not a tbird so it's possible they modified it a little before sending it out.  I dunno, but hows it coming along anyway?
