Title: poor brakes

okay heres the scoop..... foot all the way as hard as i can push it.... and still mooving.... pads are good just bleeded it..... blargh , what might be wrong? master cylender....? calipers? :dunce:

i dont know...  :brick:

How far down is the pedal going? Didja bleed all four corners? Didja adjust the rear shoes? Didja check the calipers to see if they're seized?

And probably a stupidly simple question: Was the engine running? Without it your braking effort will be very high. Even still, if the pedal seems rock hard with the enine running you may want to check the brake booster and the vacuum lines going to it.

I had the same poblem in both cars, I was told by a mechanic that it was brake booster and they wanted like $300 to do it. But I could tell the brake booster was good because it would make a vacum sound when I stepped on the brake. Changed out the master cylinder in both cars, now it is pretty solid. Miles above what it was before.

it goes down 1/4 the way all are bleeded not seized    not ajusted.... ill check that

zpyro- nah im recovering from a broken leg..... its still a little weak... but HA

Seriously I did that after I broke my right ankle and have been doing it ever since.
