Title: How many teeth on AOD speedo drive gear?

Everything I see is listed for 7 tooth...what is in our AOD's versus a mustang AOD???  Is it 8-tooth???

if you got it from a pre 89 car, it should be a 7 tooth gear in the tail shaft. after 89, it would have a 8 tooth.
