I have for sale an '88 LA3 EEC, tested, works fine, $83.50 shipped lower 48, for Canada it may be a bit more.....pm me if interested, and thanks.

what is the significance of that item? im not familiar with what it is...

It is the EEC used in the '88 TurboCoupe 5-speeds. It has a higher clock speed which helps with performance and a smoother idle. It has a more aggressive timing map also. TurboFord guys argue over whether this or the 86 SVO EEC is the best. I have one in my Cougar. It was one of the best mods I have done to the car. It starts up everytime in less cranks than the stocker.

It's pretty rare as well as it was used only in 88 5 speeds.
