Someone over at NATO turned me on to this site. Awesome website. Just thought I'd introduce myself and show you guys my newest aquisition. Picked up this '86 TC last Saturday for the paltry sum of $900. It's a rust free California car that I'm pretty sure has been garaged most of it's life. It's got 165k but runs smooth and strong! The body is straight as an arrow and the previous owner just had the top half of the car recleared. The grey leather interior is perfect! Uncracked dash, perfect headliner, EVERYTHING works even the (factory?) alarm. Just passed California smog, too! I originally saw it on Ebay. Turns out it was 2 miles from my house! He was selling it locally too for $1500. I offered him $900 and he took it! It's gonna be my daily driver commute car.

My project car is an '89 Mustang convertible that I'm in the process of dropping a built '88 TC motor into. I affectionitely call it 'Thunderstang'! (http://www.cardomain.com/id/evintho) I also have an '88 TC that WAS gonna be my daily driver until I started tearing into it and found a severly cracked head, cracked turbo, sloppily installed sunroof and somebody took a Sawzall to the firewall in an attempt to extract the heater core! I only paid $500 for it so I'll probably just part it out and get my money back. To bad though, it was loaded with options.

Yep, that's Ford's high-tech offering for the 80's. That's uber-rare as I've only seen one of those once and it wasn't even functional.
