Say I want to make my car a stock car clone... Would I have to get the fender decals from the company's or is their a kit with those stickers in it? I've been giving it alot of consideration, any information someone might have would be helpful. I'm hoping to do Davy Allisons 28 Havoline car.
:flame: on
with a good picture, and possibly your car for reference a good graphics place should be able to print you some stickers. or at least stencles for a body shop. my neighbor across the street owns his own shop and always had something on his car.
maybe you can find a poster or a model for reference?

Sounds cool. I only see a red x there.
What year bird are you doing this to an '84?
He drove a Chevy in '84 in his first cup start ;)
In '87 he moved to the 28 car and got Havoline as a sponsor.
I'm just busting on you.
I'm assuming you're planning this...

Some of these decals are the same today as they were then but many have changed. You should be able to get some of them directly from the company they represent.
there is also dale earnhardt SR drove tbird in 82 and 83 with the wrangler sponsor and bill elliot in the 80's with coor's and mellings sponsored tbirds

however the red #9 T-bird still holds the fastest record :flip:
212.xxx at Talladega
210.xxx at Daytona
The cars today would be much faster than that if they didn't have the restrictor plates.
definetly...about 230-240 average
That would be sweet but scary as hell to partite in or spectate
R wallace said it was fun, but a lil hairy...still the cars are safer than Indy cars
I remember that. I think he went something like 220-230 unrestricted at Talladega not too long ago.
Indy cars = suicide
You'd never catch me in one of those things.
Yet they are still as safe as the nasscarr.
Say this quickly
"NASCAR CAR"
You now sound like a dumb hillbilly.

I know they explode to absorb the energy and are infact safe but they are so confined. I couldn't be in that small of a space.
Honestly, I wish I could never hear of it again.
Yup, 212.809 May '87 Tallaedega...
And you can cleatly see Bill's ahead in the picture.... But all in all he generally did not do well on the small tracks... Had he averaged just a spot or two better finish on the small tracks, he would have won the championship in '85 when he won the million $$$$...
I used to be a big fan but since NOCAR basically has made all the cars alike, it ain't much fun to watch anymore...
I went to a Busch North series race and after the race they had a trailer that was passing out complete sets of decals. Might want to try getting them there or at the vendors trailers at one of the races.
