Title: non fox engine swap question...

allright guys.. my friend wants to shoehorn a 460 into his 73 maverick im doing the work here..... what would be needed to do this swap?

its allready a 302 with a c-6 on it i believe the 460 has a c-6 also im not sure...

would this swap fairly easy?  lemme know

he will probly have to use a mustangII front clip. the 385 series is a wide motor.

approx 8 and 1/2" wider than the 302 thats in it correct?

its a tight fit now... maybe i should convince him to lemme build him a 351 ;-)

A 351 is a tight fit in a Mav... A 460 will require a lot of cutting and reinforcement...
