No times or numbers yet, just pictures. I won't have anything more till the end of summer.
Very nice. Congrats on having the first Cougar that I personally know of that has a TT.
wow, thats nice! did you buy a kit or do it yourself? your gauge cluster looks great also.
OOOhhhh looks great. Bet you can't wait to hit the track with it. What'cha doin here in AZ?
Can you PLEEEEZE show a better picture of your dash cluster. Something I have been thinking about going with in the future.
WHOOSH!!!
Gotta love the boost!
Whoa! That completely caught me off guard. Is that a custom setup or did you purchase a kit?
EDIT: I see someone just asked that. Silly me. xD
I dig the cluster, and the whole cat. Nice car.
Twin turbo 5.0 that thing is going to fly:evilgrin: . I didn't know you were putting twin turbos in it. I also dig the column shifter :D .
is it me.... or are the turbo's in the fenders! :-? i look at my cougar and dont see much room for em except in the fenders lol. nice work btw
It looks a lot like it's hand-fabbed. Very nice work, Dave, just keep it on the road!
It's all custom work, no kit involved. I would like to thank my friends who welded for me ;) Without em it would never have happened.
I'll see if I can find a better picture of the cluster, that's the only one I have with the A-pillar pod. I've had the cluster done for ~2 years now, I had it done for the last CJ I was at. (2004?)
And I'm in Arizona for the summer living out here with my parents. Certainly enjoying the weather out here ;) I'm in Tucson now.
If you want that picture of the cluster bigger, just find the direct link to it by going to properties and pasting it into a new window. They're just thumbnailed.
Thanks for all the complimemts by the way :)
Here's a picture I took back in 2004 of the dash, but it's pretty much the same.
There are green LED's attached to the turn signal lights, a red for brights and an orange for check engine.

i second that, the woosh will be louder than the vroom lol, thats pretty dam sweet.
Whoa. Consider me impressed! I always wanted to do that. :)
So have you driven it? You haven't said a thing about how it drives. I've always liked the turbo whistle and to have that in stereo - wow - music to my ears!
Wow...sweet man!
Oh it's fun ;) No doubt about that. The turbos make tons of nice whistling sounds and the blow off valve. Call me a ricer, but I love it! :D
Sadly I'm not close to it right now, or else I wouldn't be here posting, I'd be out driving it haha. But let me tell you, when that boost needle hits ~10, you're holding on for dear life :D
Very cool. Where did you put the battery? These pics are crazy. And the O2 sensors are on the...and the headers are...good gawd man!
just curious... are you running PS?
what belt did you use bro... i would like to know
Clayton
That's pretty incredible David. If I were you I wouldn't be able to stand being so far away from it for so long.
It'd be like getting a Christamas present, then having to put it away for a few months.
Battery is where the backseat used to be. 2 people in the car at a time... unless there are two women who want to share the front seat :D :giggle:
Nope, no power steering, I have the March Alternator bracket, which also removes the stock tensioner. I believe it's a 40.5 inch belt. Alt, Water pump and Crank. ;)
Trust me, evertime I see a Camaro or Mustang or punk kid with a fart can, it makes me wish I had my car with me. But I guess it's better that I don't get my license suspended this summer :rollin: Yeah trust me though, it does hurt. But at the end of the semester I was very frusterated with it. Oh well.
:)
How come you didn't move the battery on back to the trunk? Only demo derby cars have the battery in the back seat. ;)

The way my sub box and amp rack are placed, I didn't really have any flat space back there that was metal to drill into.
I'll have to get some numbers from a dyno when I get back in August.
AUGUST?! You're not coming to Cat Jam?! OMG! You're not my best friend any more! :yuck:
I WANT TO SEE THAT. I WANT TO RIDE IN THAT. BRING THAT HERE.
LOL. We probably don't need the cops called on us again, like someone got on us a couple years back...
I'm not going to be able to make it to CatJam. But I can pick you up from STL airport for private showings ;) Hahaha. (starting August)
:D
looking Good What are you using to tune it with? /
5.0 + Twin Turbos = High 10`s ??!?!?!
Personally, i think that any new car under 50,000 will be slower than yours... !!!
I like it !!!!
Picture showed up real well. Thanks you. I may do something like that in the future.
Is it just me, or does that link not open
Just you... Works for me.
