heck,, i forgot i even did this,,,,,,,sheshhhhh ive been gone too long:D

helps to jot down your codes while you hear the code instead of trying to count blinks on a light.

Sure about that hook-up?
Doesn't the EEC ground pin 4 when it signals?
Looks like if you were to open the door while the EEC was grounding pin 4 you would burn out the driver transister in the EEC.
