I’m thinking about getting a 87 or 88 tbird and was wondering what parts can be used from the mustang fox body on it. This will be the toy and I have a 95 bird for the daily. I am a member of tccoa and none of them have been able to ans this ? can some on point me in the right direction. I love the way the fox tbird looks and would deal with you can use this part and fab this or that like the mn12 I have already. If anyone here has a mn12 you know that everything is a take this and do this with it or you can only get that part here. But we all know that is the life of building something that is not the norm build. I hope that you guy can give me some advice as I can get some parts for cheep now before I even get the car it self.
http://www.coolcats.net has a interchange for parts.. and i do beleive alot of mustang parts will work in those birds. as time goes on later today there will be many more people to help you with this question

yes it is..... even tho its for cougars :-D still has a lil bit of exchange info for tbirds... and everything mechanical wise in drivetrain and suspension i beleive interchanges from 83-88 for foxes ;-)
Really, the entire drivetrain is interchangable. The front suspension on 1987-88 cars is more aligned with SN95 Mustangs than the Fox ones. You could use Mustang seats also. A few odds and ends pieces interchange. Otherwise they are two totally different cars. That shouldn't really prevent you from doing what you want to do, though.

Well no fabing here,simple bolt on stang parts and tuning aids,should net me around 500hp this year,however like it was said before,the $$$ figure is the only thing that can stop you.
Yes all of these people are right almost all 83-88 parts off tbirds mustangs cougars and mark 5 will fit on eatchother as long as the bolts line up if you wanna mod there is alot of stuff to mod on all of these cars and they are all the best cars ford ever made besides the 1970 mustangs !!!! mwahahahha
