well my fuel pump went a couple weeks back so i paid madd loot and got that replaced but once the tank was out i saw it was in bad shape but its in worse shape than i thought....i got a leak and its killin me financially...so i was told not to fill it up all the way and it shouldnt leak but it still does so i need a new tank if ne of u have one in good shape or can get one cheap lemme no. its for an 88 cougar ls. thanks
hey I got a tank sitting in my 88 cougar out in the yard as far as I know its in good shape Id have to drop it to look. only problem is Im in kansas and I cant ship this thing.

from where is it leaking? my bird's tank was leaking when I first got it, went and filled the tank up for a road trip and I smell gas, look back and it's pourin out. turns out it was leaking from where the filler neck goes into the tank, the grommet was missing :dunno: I just yanked one from the yard and put it on, voila no more leaks. Just might want to check and make sure it's the tank itself, of course that's if you haven't done so already.

ANyone still need a gastank? I got them for all of them. $50- not sure about the shipping but it's nothing we haven't done before. We wrap the boxes in so much plastic there's no way for the shipping guys to tell what's inside. If they smell fuel they'll bring it back..
