Here are some pictures I took this afternoon of what I have got done so far. Full 3" exhaust (ATR catback, 3" dp) , 8.8" (that i did a quick sand/rattle can job on :D ), Eibach springs/poly bushings, and CHE upper/lowers. I also threw in a picture of a couple of pieces i grabed from my ruined 7.5". I see that there was a thread about this a couple weeks ago, but saved my pictures until now. That was just the pieces I cought, there are a bunch more laying over the hill after i dumped the that fell out :D Then a picture of the result of the Eibach springs. It appears to have leveled it out, although if you get out a 'tape, it is about 1 1/4 lower out back, and a WHOLLLLE lot tighter!!! :D Needless to say, bends have never been so fun :D Let me know what you all think!

the rest...
I forgot to add that after the exhaust, I had a gain of 2# of boost and I never touched the controler :D :D
That's a nice 83, very clean looking. It looks good with the 'snowflakes' and I like how you terminated the exhaust tips right at the bumper edge. That's how I have mine on my 87. I hate it when they stick out past the bumper too far. Looks like you're gonna have some fun driving that on those PA backroads.
I just looked at your cardomain and have a question. Where are the 17X9's? Did they rub after you lowered it? Just curious...
The car's looking pretty good...
nice!
how does some burnout pictures sound?
Video!
That's one nice 83 Turbo Coupe. Keep up the good work:headbang:
no videos yet. just a few snapshots... :D :D :D enjoy
must I add that when i was done there were two smoking crators in the pavement! it dug two holes! :flip:
Nice:D Need new tires yet? I can do that with my T-bird but I like to, you know, have treads on my rear tires.
no need for tires yet :D I am working on it though!
Two of the tires on my cobra r wheels were ruined in a poorly marked construction zone... They will probably end up on the my 88... I have new ideas for the 83 involving a 5 lug upgrade ;) but no, the Cobra wheels were not affevted by the Eibachs. They rubbed in the front on real hard bends involving a nasty bump...
My stepdad is going to tear mine up soon. I'm going to have video/photos! I like how your exhaust is. I actually just printed photos of it because mine has to be brought back to the exhaust shop to be fixed, again since they don't know what making the tail pipes come out behind the rear tires means versus before the tires so I'm going to have them run it out the ass...figure they can't fck that up so I'm going to bring them photos for added security!
It's Frank, right? The car looks awesome. Call me a wierd-ass, but I love the 'flakes a lot better than the cobra's. I guess I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to that. Plus the fact that I had an '84 for a few months that rocked the '87-'88 . Looked like yours only a lot more beat up. I, too, found some parts like that inside my ground-up 7.5", except the springs, none of those, probably because mine's not T-L.
Anyway, car is coming along VERY nicely. Coming to CJ this year?
Hey! Take it easy on the equipment. Those parts had such a protected life, and now you go beating up on them ;)
BTW, its still slow ;)

I noticed you put some CHE parts on the back end. Did you get the adjustable lowers? If so that might help even up the rearend for ya. Otherwise it's still looking as good as ever. Keep up the good work!
From the pics, they don't look like adjustables, but I'm not sure. I wish CHE sold adjustable lowers with standard uppers together as a set of 4, but alas, they don't. I might be buying 'em soon...
-85turbotbird- if you want any pictures of the over the axle portion, or any specific pictures, let me know and I will be happy to help you out...
-nirvanagod- They are not the adjustables. I guess they make them I am not shure... I really like them! If anybody is thinking it is worth it or not, DO IT! It is a big improvement!
-ifixyawata- Thanks for the compliments! I like the snowflakes as well. It will probably not get the Cobra wheels put back on it. As stated before, they will most likely end up on the 88 when it gets back from paint here in a week or two... But, no idea if the snowflakes are a permanent thing. I have one or two ideas floating around. It should be good though ;) Heck yes I am coming to CJ!!! :D
Thank you for all the compliments!

Good thing you didn't punt yourself into that tree :D
