Title: Why aren't all Milans this nice?
Post by: pro-five-oh on May 08, 2006, 12:22:16 PM
Ya know, its real easy to make this a race thing, but you gotta wonder WTF is wrong with Mercury...that front end should be a production car in every showroom!

yes…they should. But ford wouldn’t do that, they’re not smart enough. You could leave a bag on the floor infront of them with the answer inside it on how to be the most succesfull car magnufacturer in the world and they’ll walk right by it.
'Nuff said. LOL!

But I do like that car, and the Voga front end is nice and clean. I'd expect to see that soon...

Yes.  And every Milan should come with one of these too:

I like the way the Milan looks.  If I could afford one, I'd buy one.  I really like that one in the pic.  If it were black, it would be almost perfect.

My parents are thinking about buying a Ford Five Hundred. I might have to stear them towards a Milan instead......

Oh yeah especially if it comes with that lady in the front seat ;)

Actually the Milan is smaller than the Five Hundred.  If they want a Mercury of comparable size, they should look at the Montego.

We rented a Milan when we went to Florida back in February. It was a really nice car and I must say I was impressed. I like the styling and interior layout. It was comfortable and had plenty of room and had great trunk space too. The leather interior was cheesy though. It felt more like cheap vinyl than leather. It had a moonroof which was nice but the wind got caught under the headliner causing it to move around a lot. I'll bet the headliners will be needing a replacement before too long.

I like the Fusion/Milan a lot better than the 500/Montego.  Unless they have to have a big car, the Milan is a better car.  It even rides as nice!

Ok help me out here, other than some more chrome/aluminum accents in the lower valence area, I don't see anything different with this front end than a regular production Milan.
Couldn't you duplicate the same front end look with some aluminum colored paint that would match the grill?

Heres a standard production version for reference.

The lower front bumper is different as well.
