Hey guys, a friend is going to be getting a rolling T/C chassis as his friend is buying it simply to gut the engine/trans(!). He is talking about GIVING me the t/c which he claims to be in extremely nice condition...I haven't seen it yet so I can't pass judgement.
Anyway, I'm sure I can do the swap, are there any snafu's I should know about before gutting my daily driver??? Might even be able to do the motor/trans in a weekend if I'm lucky. Thanks ahead of time!

Thanks for the info...I printed all of it out, just to get a call to find out the guy decided to keep it after promising it to us...he paid $300 for it with a manifold leak...only makes 6lbs of boost and you can hear it screaming out of the intake somewhere, a rock hard pedal and a sheared rear brake hose...it made it from NY to southern NJ and he won't even sell the chassis to us now...ass monkey. At least I have all the info now should something come up in the future.
