Good for a laugh though aint it?
Ha, I needed a good laugh.
If someone actually pays that, I'm pulling my car's giblets next weekend.:hick:
hmm, if i could get 800 for a blown 3.8L and trans...
Them damm silly South Jersey people:hick:
But that's an HO, man! That means HIGH OUTPUT!
hahah. he mistakenly added an extra zero... or at least I sure hope he did!
Aparently not, I asked him
And he replied
So I guess the guy is serious :dunno:
I can pickup an entire BRAND NEW SHORTBLOCK for that price and for a couple hundred more all the hardware and a good condition used AOD.....He should stop smoking the pot so much:giggle:
People think they can sell their junk for the price of gold, and others gold for the price of junk.
Spend some time on a mustang forum, and youll see.
Holy , I just realized that I know who that guy is! He has a dyno shop off of Rt. 322 and usually services mustangs and corvettes. I bought numerous NIB parts off of them back in '03 when I was building my 5.8. His prices are usually pretty reasonable (which is why I kept coming back). Dunno why he wants so much for this thing.
Gambardella is my nieghbors cousin. This guy did a edelbrock h/c/i swap on his 93 notchback and from what he said he charged him for the job I'm not surprised of the price of that auction... Small World
if he can get $1800 I'm selling all 4 of mine. What do you think I can buy for $7200?
shiznit! I've got a rusty old 70k mile '84 block in the garage. Should be good for 5-600, right? I've got a busted AOD or two, there's another $500.
No the block isn't worth that much unless it out of a mustang. You know the mustang block are better.:D
I forgot... stupid me. All mustang blocks are all-aluminum and have 4-bolt mains. Dumbass me.
Pff I can get a whole 85,000 mile 5.0 HO from the wreaker by my house for $350. I just have to pull it, which is a pain in the ass.
150 bucks from the wrecker over here ;)
Realllllly.... soooo want to help me swap engines? :D
These two must be related

Dear God I just threw away a set of those off my 88 bird.
WOW!
Only $250 for a set of those wire hubcaps you can get at wal-mart for less than $50? SWEET!
Doesn't that idiot know you can get a sweet set of spinner hubcaps for $200?
I bought one of those for my V6 way back when for $5
shiznit... at $450 a set, I have about $1400 worth of wheel covers.
