I can pickup an entire BRAND NEW SHORTBLOCK for that price and for a couple hundred more all the hardware and a good condition used AOD.....He should stop smoking the pot so much:giggle:

Holy , I just realized that I know who that guy is! He has a dyno shop off of Rt. 322 and usually services mustangs and corvettes. I bought numerous NIB parts off of them back in '03 when I was building my 5.8. His prices are usually pretty reasonable (which is why I kept coming back). Dunno why he wants so much for this thing.

Pff I can get a whole 85,000 mile 5.0 HO from the wreaker by my house for $350. I just have to pull it, which is a pain in the ass.
