If I install an offroad pipe, what do I do with the air tube from the air pump?
Throw it away(what I did)...
The off road pipe should have a hookup for the air tube...
Ok, thanks for the info :)
Hook it to the intake it'll give ya boost:giggle: lol j/k.
Ya an entire 0.5psi maybe. Hold on for your life when you get that moving. :giggle:
if your running a off road h pipe, i'd ditch the rest of the emmissions. but thats just me... o waite, it is me because thats what i did lol...
Have you had any legal problems? We have emissions to worry about here in NC :( . But the place we get our cars inspected just change the sticker :D .
For your situation, you'd have to see if when they inspect your car, they look for the cats. Your car could fail the inspection if they aren't there depending on how strict and caring NC is.
See you're supposed to have them in MD, but the state is nothing but a bunch of money grubbing turds so as long as you pay them your inspection fee, it doesn't matter. They really don't care about reducing emissions, it's just a money making scheme. I haven't had the cats for over a year and although they may check the exhaust with a mirror, they never failed me for not having them. Just for putting out excessive amounts of HCs :hick:
i have an extra h pipe with cats i use for inspection season, and so far those random inspection stations havent gott'n me, but i only drive the car like once a week anyway.
The place we get our inspections doesn't even look at the car...they just change the sticker and send you on your way. Gotta love it. :hick:
