Title: 17x9?
Post by: mike969mb on May 05, 2006, 03:58:19 PM
I was looking at a set of rims that are 17 x 9? Will they fit without any issues? Rubbing or anything like that?

Thanks.

BTW, how have you (or will you) convert to 5-lug? SN-95 parts or just 5-lug rotors?

i guess i copied the wrong picture, its a 4 lug version - hence the 4 x 108 pattern.

i didn't read that... it was late. =/

Anyhoos, if you read through those threads then you could come to the logical conclusion that 17x9s will fit. IMO rubbing will depend on two main areas, ride height and tire size.  245s seem to be a happy medium and obviously if you plan on keeping stock ride height you should be okay.

What he said :stupid:

If they're the same back spacing as the cobras for 4 lug mustangs then yes they will fit with out any rubbing. even with 245-45-17x9s in front I have no tire rubb EVER. But at full lock, somtimes the inner wheel hits the tie rod or the sway bar ends (i just drew a blank). But thats because I went to the fox mustang lower control arms. With stock lca's you wont have any rubbing. But the wheel will stick out from the fender.
