I will be buying a new car before the end of this month, and sadly I only have room for one vehicle where I live. With that said I am looking for serious offers on the car. For anyone who hasn't seen it at Cat Jam or Carlisle you can view my cardomain site from the link below.
I would like to pass off the car compleate if possible along with any goodies I have in the garage (raven interior, 4 turbines, misc center console joystick/window buttons/console cover). I also have an 11" front brake conversion sitting in a box with everything but the reducer for the passenger side line and a strut tower brace (Eric, if you want it back it's yours just let me know).
If I cannot get a complete sale I will probably try to part out some items, but I really do not have the time to do that... may make some junkyard diver a very lucky man.
Problems with the car are:
-Leaky windshield seal
-Passenger side exhaust pipe rear hanger recently broke on a driveway apr0n... just tack it back in place
-Drivers side seat has a broken back
-Rust on the passenger side rear wheel well
-Small rust on drivers side lower body behind where rear lower corner of door meets body
Advantages:
-New motor has low miles on it and only ran on Redline 10w40 (pure synthetic)
-T-5 transmission has low miles
-paint, except for rust areas is in good condition for 18yrs old
-origional owners manual in good condition
Performance Mods:
Motor:
-Lunati "blue racer" cam (part # wg-1087 @ jegs)
-Pro M 80mm mass air meter cal for 24# injectors
-Black Magic electric fan
-UD pully
-3 row radiator
-melling high volume oil pump
-1989 A9L Mass air computer (manual transmission and best year computer to chip & tune)
-BBK 190 LPH OEM Fuel Pump
-BBK 65MM Throttle Body
-1986-1993 Cobra Intake
-Ford Motorsport 1:6 Roller Rockers
-Crane Conicle Valve Sprigs good up to 560 lift
-Ford HO Motor 0.060" (=310cid instead of 302cid)
Body:
-D&D subframe connectors
Transmission:
-3.73 rear gears
-Steedia Tri-Axe shifter
Exhaust:
-MAC 79-93 Pro Chamber H-Pipe
-MAC 79-93 1-5/8 Un Equal Length Headers
-Exhaust Match Porting for Heads

Mikey, we're going to move this to the 'For Sale' section. Hopefully someone will take you up on the offer...it's a quick Cat that should go to a deserving person.
Mike sorry to hear. I wish I had the money to take it off your hands as I hope to be doing engine work to mine.
I sadly have no room for another car right now. I am interested in the strut tower brace however. PM me.
im very interested...i need a decent driver. i never make offers unless they are serious lowballs...lol what are you honestly looking to get back on this car. do you have any recent pics of the body/trouble areas? thanks for your time, john
John, I can get pics up of the trouble spots probably within the upcoming week, haven't washed/waxed it yet this year so the "curent" pics wouldnt do much justice... just been too busy between the fd and work.
As for the strut tower brace, if Erik dosen't want it back I'll post up a pic for you Paul.
I don't need it Mikey...go for it. :)
Sounds good, thank you.
Just thought I'd add that I am picking up my '03 Altima Monday night...
Will have the pictures soon... probably Tuesday when I'll also get pics of the new ride.
Will think about any offer just send it my way as long as its not crazy.
Buyer responsible for pickup and transport from zip 11510, Baldwin NY.
TTT, got my car tonight... wow my stomach is in knots, first major purchase!
The strut tower brace...
The 11" brake upgrade...

-Highbeam/turning signal switch and lever with hazzard portion of steering column
-Headlight relay
-Misc hardware for seats
-2 distributor covers
-Full set of turbines

how much are you selling it for? i remember this car from august 2004 at a meet we had. i really liked it. my screen name is alanped
Alan
PM me on the price of the brace. I can pick it up whenever you are available. I'm in Farmingdale.
Alan,
I am asking $2,500.00 OBO. and that it be taken off my hands soon. I don't have the space to keep it nor the money to keep it insured so it can sit on the street...
, Mikey, you're giving that beehotch away! Was it you that posted the invoice for the tranny work you had done way back when? Not trying to make you feel remorseful, but instead trying to convey to perpsective buyers what a deal they're getting. Honestly, folks, he has at least 2x the asking price put into this car. If this was a couple years ago, I'd be on the way to NYC.
Believe me I DONT want to sell this car. However I have no place to store it and dont have the $ to pay for a place to store it at. The $2,500 price should have made the car disapper by now, it's that low because I need it gone yesterday. Im sure when I am older and have additional money or a place to store it I will get another Fox cat... hopefully I get to see her in the future at Cat Jam 2020... lol

still here and needs to go.

Yeah but than you'll have to put $7500 + cost of the car $2500? to get where you was... seems like a waste of $10k :(
Sorry not trying to bust your balls... I just went through this same thing myself, and figured I would take the tbird off the road before I ever sold it. There has to be somewhere you can keep this thing for a couple of years... How much could the insurance be on a 20 yr old cougar? I pay $540/yr for my tbird and thats max liability 100k/300k, max uninsured motorist 50k/100k that stacks with the other car... max property dam...etc. I don't have colision or theft..
Check the rates with your agent the new car will eat of most of the cost
I do not have the space and I am not going to pay for a local garage. No space, no additional money and no time to work on it.
I still have everything including the 11" brake upgrade and strut tower brace because I STILL have yet to be contacted about pickup.
People here who know my car think Im an idiot for selling it at $2500... heck I dont want to sell it for that much but I need it gone.
Make offers, move the car or Ill be forced to junk it.

Wish you the best of luck mikey. I really did wish I had the money available. Guess it came at the wrong time for me financially. Good Luck I'll be rooting for you. :)
i absolutely cant belive this car isnt sold yet. i know i wanted it bad, but it didnt quite fit the bill for what i needed and the wife wouldnt let me go with another 18 year old car as a driver.
Mikey, i realy hope this thing goes to a good home, its one of the few cars that are a staple of this site for me!
Good luck with the sale man. I wish you had a place to atleast keep it. Then I would say do what I do. Both my cougars in the garage get insured for about 2 months out of the year both at 30bucks a month for liability, because of how little I drive them.
Hell, right now we got the entire street infront of our NEW house tore the fornicate up until mid Sept! So I havent even had either one out yet because a 30ft section of my driveway to the street is gone. S!!!
If you car doesn't sell and you still need a place to store it, I've got room here at my house. It will be off street and while I don't have a garage, it would get washed/waxed regularly. I can't stand dust, pollen, spots, etc. That way you can still keep it. PM me and we can chat about it.
i would bet that you could part it out and get your money pretty quick. I will take the gears and the headers.
I don't think he has time or space to part it out. That's the reason he's selling it so cheap. He's really gotta get the car outta there.
Well, my buddy needs a car. I'll point his attention to yours. I cant gaurantee anything though.
Sold on e-bay, waiting for payment and buyer to pick it up.
lol i saw that one on ebay.. nice catching someones eye with "custom mustang motor"
hope he/she takes real good care of it man
from the buyer:
Expect to still see my car around, I'm glad it went to someone who will enjoy it.
Congrats, looks like you found a good buyer too.
