Title: Motorsport Grill?
Post by: Romeo2k on May 02, 2006, 12:58:07 AM
Apparently theres a "Ford Motorsport" grill for the 83-86 Thunderbird.
It's an extremely nice looking grill.

Anyone know what model this is off of, Or where it comes from?

There's one on ebay right now.

That grill on eBay is not the same one that was offered in the Ford Motorsport catalogs although it was made by the same company, Spoilers Plus out of New York. They were the supplier of the T-Bird body kits offered in the catalog but the grill that was offered in the Ford Motorsport catalog was more of a “geometric” design that they called a “Ram Air” grill which is shown on the Black & Sand Beige Turbo Coupe's in this picture.

Some of us wish it was still 1985.  :D

I have a full line catalog from Spoilers Plus from 1989 and it has some neat pictures of kits for everything from Escort's to Tempo's
You have never seen a better looking Tempo.

We've all got time machines. They're called Fox Thunderbirds and Cougars. To see what I mean, park your fox car for six months and drive a new car, then get back in the Fox. You'll be amazed :D
