The Sage 85 GS is the oldest, behind that is the 86 XR-7, then the 87 XR-7, then one of the 88 XR-7s (Before), then the other 88 XR-7 (After)

The Sage 85 is the newest addition which is a result of this thread:

Nice:D . I'm glad you got it because we all know you'll take good care of it. Now you need a 83 and a 84 to have a FOX Cougar from all the aero years.

That's a very good lookign fleet you have there Karl. And I have to admit, that Sage Cougar couldn't have been saved by a better man! Congrats on your latest score.

Color me Jealous, Karl.  That's an incredible collection.  I can only imagine what your neighbors must think.  How do you keep all the keys straight?!

CHOO! CHOO! Here comes the cougar train
1st one tan
2nd one is grey
3rd one white
4th one is black
5th one is black
All over no caboose on that train.

A F250 diesel would be nice as your locomotive up front.

Or that concept F250 "Super Chief" that Ford introduced at NAIAS recently.

Yeah, after I parked the 4th one, that same thought came to mind.  So, once I get more space, that will eventually happen.  It will take a while.

Thanks.  That means a lot.  I started cleaning it today.  I have a LOT to do.

Actually, I took the three in the back to a car show that day and since the two black ones were in the garage, the driveway had to be emptied to get them out.  So after I parked After, I took just one quick picture, and then put the first two in the garage.

That's water.  They all have some of that showing.

Well, the neighbors near me don't seem to have a problem.  If they did, I would probably catch rumor of it sooner or later.  There is someone one or two streets over that was talking to one of my next-door neighbors after a neighborhood (HOA) meeting last month who said something like "Oh, you live next to that guy with all those cars.  That would bother me," or something to that affect.
I keep my yard and house neat and and clean, I cut my lawn regularly and diagonally, and I keep everything neatly tucked up in the driveway and garage.  I don't leave car ramps and jacks and stuff outside.  When I'm done, everything gets put away.  Granted, I don't have a driveway full of brand new Hondas, Expeditions, and other typical suburbanite vehicles, but the ones I do have are not junk sitting on jackstands.

Before has a little keyless remote, After has a Cougar key fob, the white one has some other type of key fob, the 86 XR-7 has factory Ford keys that read "Turbo", and the GS keys have a key safe hanger thingy with them.

Thanks for everyone's kind words.  The GS seems to be a decent car.  The dash has NO CRACKS and the AC works!  The paint has plenty of blemishes but it looks good under night time lighting and looks good from about 20 feet away.  It's actually what I expected from that thread and from what the owner said.
It was and still is VERY dirty though.  I spent about two hours vacuuming just the engine bay, firewall cowl, drip rails, and front fenders.  I spent another hour vacuuming the trunk.  I spent another almost two hours washing/scrubbing the exterior not even touching the wheels, wheel wells, door jambs or trunk lip yet.
I still have more washing to do before any compounding can start.  I haven't even touched the interior yet.  When I do, all the seats are coming out, the center console may even come out, most of the interior panels are coming out, the carpet is getting steam-cleaned thoroughly and all the interior panels and seats need to be gently scrubbed.  Has anyone ever cleaned the visors or headliner?
The chrome trim needs to be polished, the bumper trim needs to be repainted, the rear lights need to be washed out, and the engine bay - whew.  Let's just say I've got a lot of work there.
THEN, I still have to fix the problems.  The trans won't shift into final gear and the passenger window doesn't work.  Also, something drains the battery when the car is off.  Oh yeah, and how can I forget the good size dent in the passenger door.  Hmm, maybe some paintless dent repair for that.  Zach has some experience fooling around with that so I'll save that one for him.
I have to do some general maintenance stuff too.  Oil, plugs (V6 #3 and #6 plug => pain in the ass), power steering fluid change, coolant change, etc.

Then, I have to get it inspected before I can put tags on it.  Who knows what they will find.

IF, and that is a big "if," I get that thing on the road before CJ, I will have to make a decision on which car to bring.  I'm bringing three - the two black ones and the white one.  But if this is on the road, then I have to decide - white or green.

Guess, I should add, having several Cougars has its pros and cons as with anything.  The con right now is I will be spending all of my "Cougar time" on the green one so my Carlisle and Cat Jam cars will barely get generally cleaned and that's it.

Man Karl you just need to make two more friends. But that would be hell in Gas to drive five cars to Ohio!

Yes.  Three cars is my absolute max.  Having to clean one and worry about something happening to one is bad enough.  But nooo, I have to put my _____ on the anvil three times.
Don't know how many years I'll have the energy for that.

Oh yeah, and gas cost sucks too.

Maybe you should include the color name in the vanity plate.
"SAGE"
"SAGE GR"
"SAGE 1"
"GRN CAT"
"GRN KTY"
"SAGE CT"
"SAG CAT"
You get the idea. Have fun
