whenever i really start beating on my car a decent amount of smoke will come off the engine right under the dip stick. the first thing i thought was heatercore but theres not antifreeze on the passenger carpet

Leaky dipstick tube or more likely a leaky valve cover gasket. When you push the engine (I'm assuming high rpms and such) you're forcing oil at a much higer rater to the valves and such so if you have a leaky valve cover gasket th oil can get out. It'll then drip on the exhaust manifold and create smoke.

Chances are if it is the valve cover you just need to re-torque it.  They are notorious for comng loose over time.  When I first bought my car I drove it home and gave it a good once over.  I was actually able to spin the valve cover bolts by hand.
