which is better for and 88 cougar xr7 with a bbk cold air intake a 2 1/4 inch catback or a 2 1/2 inch catback. 2 1/4 priced at $180 and the 2 1/2 priced at $340

The bigger one for sure. Unless it is true duals. If its just a single pipe to a split then you could get away with 3" all the way to the split.

Quick question, but why is the 2 1/2 alot more money?

im not sure why its the same kit but the bigger one has polished stainless steal tips. thats the only difference. it doesnt make much sense to me
