Here is my dads Chevelle. I get to take it to senior prom this year which is Saturday. I love this car as much as I love my Cougars, wierd.

We have reason to believe it was once totaled. The whole front end appears to be from a Malibu. There are no hood pins or hole for them in the radiator support. There should be. This is after a wash from 6 months in storage. Better pics Thursday.

And sorry for the shaky pics, I get so frickin pumped around this car. I start it every day just to hear it roar. That is my dad cleaning the windows, and my grandma getting in with my mom in the backseat. It'll burn 'em with 5 people in it. D-A-M-N. LOL

I love Chevelles.  An acquantance of mine back in High School had a '70 SS with a 454.  It was a darker blue and no vynal roof.  Fun car.  I'm pretty sure he was selling drugs to pay for it though.  I lived in a town where that happened alot.  People paying cash for high end pickups and rims while in high school, and mommy and daddy sure couldn't afford them either.  Meth labs all over the place  Police didn't care much, too busy going after the higher ups while the rest of the force was corrupted by the drug lords.  Was surreal.  Well that got off topic again.  Nice Chevelle.

Yeah, I get the same way when I hear my dad's 66 Chevelle start up (funny thing, I was able to take dad's Chevelle to prom last year...hopefully this year too?).  There's nothing like good ol' American muscle.

I love the body style of the 70 Chevelle.  It looks great.  Have fun with it!

That's a sweet Chevelle.

My aunt bought a '70 new. My grandfather wouldn't let her get the 396 SS she wanted so she had to settle for a 307 Malibu.

chevelles are cool cars, but need that big block to move. 350 chevelles sound awesome, just dont get anywhere anytime soon.

Im building my car to eat my friends 68 SS 396 chevelle. but the car is almost 5000lbs so that works in my favor :)

Now thats deffinately going to stick out around here. I'll deffinately know its you or your dad when I see some guy driving that down the road here. Sweet looking car. How can anyone not love those cars? Except maybe the teen punk who watch 2 fast 2 furious a time or two to much and thinks they have to have that ricer fixed up like on tv.
I'll deffinately be keeping an eye out for that one running around town from now on :D I almost bought a nova with the 8 track thingy in it a few years back  I thought it was the last 8 track player in a car I guess not lol. Wouldn't be bad if you could still get them other then at local thrift stores and flea markets/yard sales provided the player still works. Although I dont think theres much short of a bolt of lightning or running over it with a big  car that can kill those things.

Hmmm...my dad's 66 is 'only' about 3600-3800lbs and the 350 moved it really well with 'only' ~325hp.  I can't wait to see what ~425 does for it :).

Now a perfect example of a car that NEEDS a big block would be my uncle's 69 Caprice 427...that car is HUUUGE.  And the trunk could EASILY fit a family of like 10...

Yeah this thing will light em up nicely with 5 people in it. That 402, just the sound makes me pumped up. I'll get some nice pics Thursday, hopefully some full car, not driveway pics. A few burnouts?

Yeah, Danny, you shoulda saw me Sunday. I drove it to the carwash to get the dirt off of it and the battery died. So we had to buy a new one, that  thing ruined in a year. A week exactly after warranty was up.  YOU WALMART! jk man.
