If you read my post in the electrical section you know my car has had difficulties with the wet weather around here lately. She starts just fine but then stalls repeatedly until really really warmed up. Only does it in moist conditions, the second the sun comes out she's good again. Anyway this afternoon I was watching the engine warm up in the company parking lot, trying to observe something wrong and sure enough I did. I saw water seeping out of the base of the egr spacer. I mean WATER, not gasoline, not even antifreeze. At the very least I know that's a potential vacuum leak but where exactly does water come from in that part of the engine?
I know that they run engine coolant through the EGR spacer to help prevent icing of the throttle body. Are you certain it isnt antifreeze?
There shouldnt be anything coming off of there so at a minimum I would pull it off and inspect it for cracks, and replace the gasket.
Definitely fix the water leak first.
Otherwise...remove the distributor cap and spray some WD40 under it, then put it back. You could just have some condensation under there. However...I would also suspect a bad TFI module, as it will do the same thing.
