My 3.8L kicked the can. Blew a headgasket on the way to work. Limped it there, then ended up limping it back home. Got it home, and it was blowing steam out of the valve cover breather, and blew coolant all over the side of the engine.
180K, not too bad.

she had a good run.
I have a free one if you want it. :hick:
Look on the bright side you now have a REASON to put the 5.0 in :D .

You're lucky it didn't eat it on Saturday, Shawn.

Uh oh, better watch what you do to the TC now since that's your only car...
Problem is...the TC is apart right now...
Congratulations. ;)
I think we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief now that shawn has no excuses.
LOL I always wanted to be different than everybody else, I was going to see about Morana, and having them build a complete motor for me.Mabey a 4.4 Stroker long block......WHEEEEE!!!!! LOL If i had kept the black 3.8, thats what it would have got.
So................skateboard or rollerblades for now?
he's going to wear a short skirt and some heals, then thumb it to work:D
I'm glad I live in Chicago:yuck: I just hope the cops don't get him first :giggle:
hmm, it would be easier to just fix the head gasket, then wait for the weekend and when you have all the parts to do it.
No it wouldnt. It needs heads also.
I would pull heads at a junk yard before an engine swap. At least get the turbo bird going before the engine swap.
What if the block is cracked...which it just may be? ;)
could be,... Working when you dont have a car sucks though.
screw that drive the bitch pull the radiator cap so it dont get hot or build pressure. keep some h20 in the car it's warm enough now for that.. and worst case. pull the valve covers off and re tourqe the heads see if that works . till you get the tc working again
dude! i'm here to help! what do you need? you know parts are always free! oh yeah, i need help moving on saturday.:D(sucker!):D
