I got these visors out of a 92ish explorer. They bolted right into my car and even match the color perfect. There even the light up kind. Only problem is they don't quite match up with the contour of the headliner, but your not staring at them when your driving down the road.

I took your idea and snagged a set of those from an '02 Sable. I got sick of looking for a good set of stockers. I also picked up a dome light from a '96 Cougar. Total for both $20:D
