My first T-Bird, an '85 V6 model, had manual windows, manual locks, manual mirror (there was only one, it didn't have a passenger mirror), manual seats, no A/C, AM/FM radio (no cassette), non-interval wipers and no cruise control. The only options it had were metallic paint (sage green at that) and a full-size spare. It did have a rear window defogger but they're standard equipment in Canada

I had an 84 cougar with manual windows, only power option was the mirrors, and even the radio had AM only, not even FM or casette, just AM.

When I was deployed to the Middle East 3 years ago some of us rented a vehicle called a Tofas Sahin.  They are actually Fiat 131's.  It was about the size of an early 80's Ford Escort and had a 1.4 litre motor with a 1 barrel carb.  This was a brand new model.  We saw them all over the place being used as taxi cabs and you could pick one up for about $4500 American.  Manual locks, windows, mirrors, and no radio.
