Since i have to work tomorrow;what the hay is everyone else doing
this first weekend of spring???
im going to sleep so i can go to work tomorrow
Took some time off work (10 days in a row in total) been with my woman for one year tomorrow so I gotta think of something to do for that and I plan on spending next week swapping engines in my old sprint so I can sell it and buy more... its a vicious cycle. Wana up the boost in the turbo to 10-12 lbs aswell, but would like to get a backup car goin first though 'cause knowing my luck i'll end up blowin a hg.
Thats my week in advance anyway.
My first thing to do this weekend is to get the TC moved to the other farm, so I can put it in the shop to strip it, and I got to move a trailer out there as well. Then, if time allows, I got to get around to doing something with one of the 351w engines I have, get one on the stand, or something. Did pull some interior parts in grey, got a coupla sunvisors with the lit vanity mirrors, and good map pockets and speaker grills for my TC swapped interior, the visors that were in the TC didn't have lit mirrors, and the other stuff was beat to hell.
Might pull the interior and carpet out, start removing the flab from this overweight hunk of Ford I call Thunderhawk...I dunno, life around here is never dull for long...
I was talking to my buddy down the street,he has an 91'cougar that
has been sitting in his driveway for about 9months now.And i stop by
during the day on friday to see if i could use any parts. The car has
some nice factory cougar rims the lattece(sp) type in good condition.
The car has a broke cam and the haed is bad also, i was thinking
if i offered him a few bucks and pay fro the towing, he might go for
it.Then maybe i could use that car to get my 88' fixed up. the 91'
is in better shape except for the blow engine.Today i am going to
check out the bolt pattern and get those rims if they match up.
They won't. The '91 uses a 5-on-4.25" FWD-style offset, while your '88 uses a 4-on-4.25" RWD-style offset.
In fact there are very few parts on that '91 that you'll be able to use. They are two completely different cars
yeah when i look at it i was can in use anything, but the ideal
of the whole car sounded good to work with... that fwd. Those
rims look hot as hell. You think that i can change the rotor from car
to car?
I'm goin' racin'... Iffin it doin't rain...
Nope. The 91 uses "hat" style rotors with no integral hub, the 88 uses rotors with integral hubs. The rear end in the '91 is independent, the '88 has a solid rear.
...And the Cougar isn't FWD - it just has FWD-style rims
man i still wish that i could those rims.dude just wants the car gone from the yard.i might just get it,but it would be smarter just to put the money in mines first... i wish that i had the
money for both.
Hey what do you mean by integral hubs?
integrated left 'hat' style right
