Still have some work to do, but it's gettin' there...:D
looking good, wheres the pic of the decal :D
;) it's on this roll of film gettin' developed Friday, hope to have the new pics friday night...(crosses fingers)
lookin' my man! is it just me, or is there something different about your header panel?
Its an aftermarket header panel, one that does not have the recess for the bird emblem
okay... I kinda like it! It makes the front look "clean"
kinda what i was thinkin. does it fit ok and line up with the body lines well ,FordTruckFreeek?
i like the dome light, what year taurus did you snag it from?
Pressure Cooked, The header panel lines up fine, fits nicely, the "aftermarket" TC hood doesn't, I'll have a pic of the fit on it sometimes this weekend.
Ether, I took the domelight out of a 94 Taurus, but since I've been working at the JY i've seen the same light in 97 and up Ford trucks, also my dad's 99 SuperDuty has the same domelight.
Did y'all notice the pics were black and white? lol
The three "buttons" in the backseat holding the headliner are actually red, cause I broke the raven ones taking them out of the TC
Does that dome light just go on real easy like the stocker? That looks really sharp...
well, I used a dremel to cut off a little projection thing about an inch long, that would otherwise hit the metal, and there's one other little area that needed ground off, all in all, didn't take more than 30 minutes to do it all, and they're so much brighter than the regular Tbird domelight...
glad y'all like what i've done so far! ;)
right here! (albeit 6 months later)
well its about time :flip:
sorry hoss, i'm a lazy ass! :grinno:
i think im going to do the dome light swap it look great and i hate the yellow light that i get from the stock one.
You'll be amazed at how much brighter a newer light is...i can actually see in my car now with the new one. Best interior mod I've done yet, well, maybe after the TC wheel.
I did the dome light swap too, and had to cut the projection things off but all the screws go in the the same as the original ones. I think I had a thread with another one for sale if anyone else wants to do the swap.
I did the mod to the front TC nose too. I liked it because it cleaned it up.I will do it to the tbird I have now when I am ready to paint her.
Remove that "Ain't Skeered" thing from the window and you're all set.
;)
Seriously, though. It's lookin' good!
Thanks for the compliments!
It's gonna get treated to a complete new suspension, either a 5.0 or a 5.8 carb motor(leaning to 5.0 because I have a complete, running 5.0SO, whereas the 351w I have will need to be comepletley rebuilt)
and and put the 'Bird on a diet, too. Nothing too drastic, just some thinner carpet, AC pump and some other "stuff" yanked out.
If I can ever get this last roll of pics developed, I will have new ones to post up.
Still gotta do the driver's door panel swap from base to TC, but since I'm gonna use the TC doors, no point in messing with it twice. It's gettin' much closer to what I visualize it to be..than where it was a year ago.
Basically, all i need right now to put the 5.0 in is a set of mounts, which are ordered:D and a 4 bbl carb, and a fuel pressure regulator. I've got everything else to drop it in, well, except for H pipe, and the rest of the exhaust.
Gettin' closer people...if all goes according to plan, it just might appear at CJ07....:headbang:
