Went to the good auto wrecker in town in search of a turbo sprint I heard they had, only a handful of cats/birds but I guess thats a good thing. Heres the lower half of the yard, the upper half is all trucks.

The cats, none of them really look damaged before they got in the yard

The birds, first one engine fire, second hit in front, the third looked physically fine aside from missing parts.

Here's the best looking yard car out of the three I saw (two susuki's and one pontiac 6000:confused: ) it has a ford HD truck grill bungied to the front and country music blaring, it amused me.

There was about 10 or 11 mustangs three gt's, all but the red one looked like it creamed a pole

This was sitting near the front gates and had "DO NOT TOUCH!!!" written on all windows

Heres my new found factory turbo hubcaps for da sprint, scored for $10, good price considering theyre near impossible to find.

And last but not least I found this little guy hiding out in the country, I stopped on the road and the guy came out of the shop (where he was working on a 37 pontiac with complete 70's trans-am drivetrain) so I pulled in and bs'd with him for a bit, he built it in 89 after it was written off by a rear end collision, he was replacing the whole rear end when he decided to make it a truck, the tailgate even opens properly! He was a pretty cool guy, in his 60's, also had a nova behind the garage and a sprint car parked by the road.

I'm going back next saturday to snag some more parts, if anybody needs parts/prices lemme know and i'll check, i'm taking a second memory card for my camera this time, too much stuff to see, i'm like a kid in a candy store!
Ya oughtta get that SC V6, put that in a Sprint, would be cool ;)
Also, the yard I work at has a 'Zuki as a parts fetcher/torch hauler... thing just won't quit...
Those little suzuki motors are near unstoppable. all three yards in town use them. I wana snag that SC and sneak it in to a ranger
yahoo, the pics will come back eventually
I'm not seeing any pictures.
I said wait!, theyre back now ;)
I tried to post a couple more pics but they all disappeared, now i'm afraid to try again, I have pics of a weird VW beetle prototype I saw there..
well, i got to see em before they.....disappeared...lol
OK it should work now, uploaded all the pics to the evil that is photobucket
Either that or its a cavalier, i'm not sure :p

That Sprint truck looks VERY well done. Lots of interesting things in that yard.
I remember seeing a '97 or so Cougar 'XR7' V6 with only 10k miles on it at my local yard. The inside still even smelled new, leather and all.
hate to see cars stacked like that. I tried to bring my camera in the junkyard to take a picture of that turbo mark 7, and they threatened to call the cops on me. Apperently it is ileagle(I can't spell worth a shiznit) to bring camera's into a junkyard?
Thats why this yard is so awesome, you dont even have to check in before entering the yard, mosey on in, get what you need and take it to the office to pay for it, thats just the small stuff though, i'm sure they'd prefer if you let them remove the heavy stuff.
There was an 05 SX2.0 there just like new, smelled like a new car when we got there, just smelled when we left
That's just a run-of-the-mill alier :D except for the "z" package
That fourth mustang pic looks like it has an exp wing.
Its got air space underneath it, This gray one has the same kind, never seen one like that before.
Please tell me that that 87/88 light blue Cougar has a smoke grey interior that has perfect sunvisors.
Good sunvisors but it all looks blue
