Title: Need wire color help
Post by: CougarSE on March 28, 2006, 07:19:57 PM
The two connectors by the firewall for an 88, the grey and black, can anyone tell me what each wire does? I'm hunting down an evtm at the moment. Also how does the computer get the vss signal? Through the grey and black connector or throught the green connector by the computer?

Mitchell OnDemand really sucks for older (pre 92) wiring diagrams, so I can't help you with the bulkhead connectors, but I can give you a diagram of the EEC-IV for the '88 3.8:

Carm could you get me the same type of diagram for an 89 supercoupe 5 speed?

And all along I've been calling it SEFI when in fact it is not.  Batch firing on the injectors on an 88 3.8.
