went to 2 of the local pick n pulls today. i found 7, yes 7 5.0 xr-7's. all maroon.also a ton of birds(84-86). i'm going to try to go again next week, anyone need anything? make a list here and i'll see what i can find. the price will be whatever i pay plus shipping.
if you can snag a complete wiring harness from an '88 V8 car, I'd be a very happy camper :D
if i go back next week i'll get you one. does it matter if it's an 87 or 88? do you need the injector harness also?
yeah, from what I've read, it needs to be '88 only, and probably should snag the injector harness, better to have it, and not need it, than to need and not have it...
If you can find another trip minder, I'd probably be interested...
Then again, I'm going to look in the crown vics tommorow at work, so we'll see...lol
Wow. That's an awesome find. Grab the rare stuff while you can!
Dude if you could snag a set of motor mount plates that would be awsome. I know there hard to get.. pretty pleaaaasseee...
i'll do it for a set of turbo coupe wheels:flip:
j/k :giggle:i'll see what i can do
You know I'm gona have to think real hard about that.
i wanted that tripminder!!!....... wonder how all those xr-7's got together?
Why not wait for the next batch of Chuck W's mounts? I get all excited just THINKING about my future set.
Grab all the interior graph trim and the 1988 bodyside moldings. Both will be worth $$$ in the future. The 1988 moldings are specific and impossible to find from the dealer.
I'd be interested in the driver's side rear moulding (red if possible) that bolts to the quarter panel between the rear bumper and rear wheel. Mine got smashed. :(
Front swaybars (same as Turbo Coupe) from 87-88 are an upgrade for Lincoln Mark VIIs, you can sell them and make decent money too. Usually go for $50+ on Lincolnsonline.com and eBay.
