there must be some poorly equipted cars down here in the south because everywhere i check, i see an buttstuffog clock or a digital one..... by chance does anyone have access to one......

They're actually pretty hard to find in T-Birds and Cougars. I used a Crown Vic one in my car

If someone could give me a breakdown on what vehicles/years it was offered, I'll keep an eye out at work for some...they've been getting in a lot of stuff lately, but it's mainly 5 year old and newer...

i found a list on coolcats......
1980-1989 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis
1980-1982 Thunderbird/XR7
1983-1986 Thunderbird/Cougar
1983-1986 LTD/Marquis

i found those cars and they all seem to have the right part, but none of the ones i checked had the tripminder (just a clock like me :()

i just scored one at the yard today out of a crown vic. paid $2.99 for it. i looked in every car but it was the only one

yeah!!!! i had to goto a regular junkyard (not the cheaper pick and pull... yuch:yuck: ), but i got it.... thanks for looking :)
