HEY, ive been a member of this forum for a while. i dont post a lot, just read the forum. Anyway i was in bluffton, ohio last night and someone left me a note on my 87' XR-7. My cougar is in pretty poor condition, but it still said "nice XR-7" and gave me this web site's address. i just thought that was pretty cool and i'd share it with everyone.
Cool!
, I've left about 5 or 6 notes on Fox Cougars in the past three years around here and none of them has joined.
Welcome to the board!
Dude that was totally me!!! Yea I work at the Shannon Theatre and I couldn't resist. My bro has an '87 XR-7 too (I have a T-Bird) and yours is the only other one I've ever seen in real life. Its cool that you've checked this out, though. Don't be shy to start postin' up. BTW, your XR-7 is better than most I've seen.
Bluffton, not too far from me. Im in Sandusky right now. My territory covers from Cleveland to Fort Wayne, through Fostoria, Findlay, Payne, etc. Anywhere ya'll meet up? Not that I have my car here, but I probably will soon.
Naw, never met up. You better be representin' at the B-town car show, you two!
yea i was planning on taking my cougar to the car show this year. But i really dont think its in good enough shape. The paint job is pretty cruddy but it runs great still. Thats pretty cool you work in shannon theatre.
I've done the same. Don't know if anyone has joined yet.
I did meet 8birdy8 at autozone back in july though. Havn't met any other board members.
Yeah, I do it every time I see a Fox Cougar parked somewhere. Needless to say, I see about as many Fox Cougars as I do Vipers.
I see many more Fox TBirds and a lot more MN12 Birds and Cougars. I've only left a note on one TBird window because it looked like the owner had an interest in it. I haven't bothered with all the other Birds - only the Fox Cougars.
Coolest thing yet was meeting Jim (8birdy8). He doesn't post much but he is on here everyday, maybe he will see this and post :flip: .
It was kinda funny, he saw the Cougar in the parking lot with the Snowflakes on it, somehow found me in autohole and we got to talking about the cars. I told him about the site and he said he was already a member. I was grinning from ear to ear.
Met a few other cool tbird/ cougar guys but most of them are redneck boys that "don't do computers".
I'm starting to see more and more Tbirds and Cougars here. I think its time to make some business cards to carry in the car with me.
haha, that is great. I've though about leaving a note or two, but never have paper!
the only notes i have botherd leaving on cars tend to be honda ridgelines or elements...i cant stand how ugly those things are :yuck:
