is it alot of work putting cams on im talkin about after u take off the timming chain all that how does the cams go on wha u just push them in or do you have to dis assemble the heads and all that
The front cover has to come off, as does the intake manifold. The heads don't have to come off, but the valve covers do. You also have to remove the rockers so you can remove the pushrods and lifters.
because of the lobes on the cam, you can't just push it in (don't we wish), as they will hit the valve lifters. you can go with the old, PITA way, but there's something that makes life a little easier...

you can easily make one from stuff from Home Depot, and will cut some hours off of the job
just hammer it in, dont even worry about taking the old one out, itll work, trust me
oh, sure, if you want to do it that way, but that would add weight
