hey i was wondering if anybody knew the specs on a 7.5 3.08 diff.

Um...

The ring gear is 7.5", and the gear ratio is 3.08:1 :hick:

What other specs do you need?

like what kind of diff. is it? i know its not a locker, not sure how the f'er operates.lol. i  just want to know everything.

well is open , meaning only one wheel spins at a time. Other then that there isnt alot to it. Check out http://www.howstuffworks.com and there is a difirental thingy in there.

That's the logic :shakehead  at FoMoCo, but I guess it makes for a good reason to swap in an 8.8 rear.

1.)  It's cheaper to produce and assemble than a Trak-Lok

2.)  The average buyer of these cars when they were new probably did not care (especially if they purchased a V6.)
