Yup first time out for the '06 season, old Bird bested em all... Hopefully I can do it it again next week, when it will count for points...
What did it run? Is it a race car only or a street/race car? Do you run it 1/8 or 1/4? Just curious
My white Bird pictured, it's a street/sometimes race car. Has working A/C, cruse, power seats, etc.(fat girl), been to Carlisle PA with it for the last five years straight.
I race at a little country 1/8 mi track down in NC(new in '00 so its fairly nice). It ran best of 8.52(approx 13.25 1/4) in time trials. Not really interested in quick times(have gone 12.23 on a 85 shot of the juice), now just looking for consistancy...
I just love you guy's sigs. Hopefully someday I'll be able to smoke 'em like that!!!
congrats...
What does you FATGIRL weight? My cougar would be in the same class, she has A/C cruise full interior, just never weighed her.
It weighed 3510, but that was before I reinst the A/C(compressor and condenser were mounted, no lines). Also I've inst a drive shaft loop(+), GT40 upper(-)(had a Cobra) smaller battery(-) and removed the dog bone(-) on the rearend housing since the visit to the scales, so she's gonna be a little less than 3500... It has all the std Turbo Coupe ABS system(working) in place.
FYI, Greg -- Mine was about 3750 with AOD, a full tank, compact spare tire, and w/o me in it.
Good to see ya'll again. ;)

hey, where you been? i'm back also :)
would that be Farmington?
Nope... Norheast Dragway, Hertford/Elizabeth City area...

On my door it says teh weight is 4,300lbs.
No it says that's the weight with max load(passenger/luggage)... You got to go back to the 70s to find a Tbird that weighs that much...
very cool. That's a win for the birds.
