ok so im gettin ready to build up a new motor for my 87 tc, now with my setup what size injectors should i use, im porting out the intake,svo head ported and polished, stingers header, with an f250 turbo mounted on it, 3" maderal bent downpipe, full 3" exhaust,tial 38mm bov, fmic,60mm tb,turbo joe fuel rail, adjustable fuel pressure regulator

also if i remove my cat how badly does it effect my gas millage, and what would cause my gas gauge not to function?

F250 turbo? Do you mean one from a Powerstroke? You sure that's gonna work (i.e. does it have a T3 mounting , how do you plan to connect it to the downpipe?)

Anyway...as long as you are still on the stock computer, you have to keep the stock 35 lb injectors.

And your cat has nothing to do with your gas mileage, or your gas gauge :screwy:

yes as in powerstroke, im gettin a header made for it and a downpipe, and i kno the cat has nuthin to do with my gas gauge , i was wondering what woukld make my gas gauge not work at all  well it does but the reading is totaly wrong

I ran 46lb CFI injectors in mine with no problems... :D

I think you have a different definition of "no problems" than most then ;)


Without some major tweaking, the stock ECUs won't run well with injectors that big..

Sorry, I misread your post.

Anyway if the gas gauge is all wrong, either it's the gauge itself, or the sender for the gauge. I couldn't tell you which one though.

ran fine.  I did end up having to run 55-60 psi of base fuel pressure with 25 psi
