I was checking out the gauges on your site (in the "Media" section), and those things are huge!!! Were they made to be used, or are they for educational purposes? Has anyone ever used them? I'm interested in some white-faced gauges, but I don't necessarily want to go to the reverse-glow deal.
The resolution is high on those so that they'll print out razor-sharp. That's why they're "big"...your browser wants to see things at screen resolution (72dpi) but the files are saved as 300dpi. Lots of people have used them, and created their own, from those files...no problems have been reported yet.
Ok, cool. But I'm gonna have to downsize them, right?
no, you'll just have to choose the size paper to print them to, NOT downsize the photo. as eric said, you want the high resolution for a crisp clear print out.
Open the file in photoshop, and view the 'Print Size' rather than 'Actual Pixels'. You'll see what he means then. :)
i used em once, turned out fine. only problem is i can only print on paper, i dont have any sticker paper or translucent plastic.
Hmm...Too bad I don't have photoshop:mad: Well, anyone want to print these out on some sticker paper for me and send it to me?
