A set of 1987/88 16" Thunderbird Turbocoupe snowflake rims. In great shape except for areas of clear coat. Come with 4 Thunderbird center caps. Have tires, but they are .
$50, local pickup preferred (I'm lazy :D ), zip 20878. Will have pictures tomorrow for those interested.
Well, the bad news is I can't find my digital camera cable to transfer the photos. The good news is no one wants these wheels! :giggle:
Pictures coming sometime next week.
Why don't you slap those snowflakes on the blue car and sell me your Draglites??? :D
PM sent
drj09: PM back at you.
Sick88TBird: I might sell the car/wheels seperately down the road, but for now they're like peanut butter and jelly. :D
Yeah, I agree with you on that...but if you do decide to separate that car down the road, I'm interested in most of the parts. I wouldn't want to buy a sweet car just to tear apart.
thanks,
Don
Still for sale! Bump/Pics. I'm willing to ship if buyer pays for shipping and the cost of tire dismounting. Be warned this will probably cost more than the price of the wheels!
Why cant anyone on the west coast sell some of these for once!
i tried to give a set of tc wheels away for free on the old board once... Had to throw them in the trash :(
about how much would shipping be to 84128? as well as the dismount fee. I would take them depending on how much shipping is.
Because all the cool people live on the eastern side of the continent ;)
Haystack - I'll throw the wheels on a scale later today (unless someone happens to know how much each of these wheels weigh...?) to estimate shipping. I'd split dismounting costs with you, so your cost for that would be around $10.
If Haystack changes his mind, I am interested in them!
Ooo - and we wouldn't even need to worry about shipping - you just hang on to them for a couple more months and bring them with you to Cat Jam!:D
p.s. - Some of the cool people live right smack dab in the middle of the continent!
Royce:
What would you do with snowflakes?
You wouldn't put them on your 20th, would you?
I've always wondered what snowflakes would look like on my 20th...the 15" turbines have always made me feel...maybe a little "inadequate" in the size-department:giggle: .
I know that the silver would take away from the effect of the gold trim on the car...but i thought i might try playing with painting them...maybe gold just in the "openings"...or maybe painting the whole thing gold...:hick: .... but yeah...maybe that would be too much solid gold for a wheel...
Ouch! According to the online shipping quotes, shipping to 84128 is about $82 via FedEx and $102 via UPS. That's a little crazy...
Royce - I'll let you know what happens...
, yeah that is alot more then I was thinking it would be. So how much is the total? with fedex shipping, 140ish?. Does that quote include how big it is and what not?
Yea, it would be about 140ish. Here's the info i'm typing into the calculator: 2 boxes, 50 pounds per box, 16x16x16 dimensions for each.
You know, around the time of Cat Jam, you should find a T-Bird/Cougar out near Eric, bus/fly it out there, then drive it back. ;)
hey I decided $140 is too much, sorry to get your hopes all up. If noone wants them later on, I would throw $100 shipped at you for them.
I'm interested. Sending you a pm now.
