A guy who lives near me has offered to sell me his for $600.  However, most of the paint has been primered over and it's got about 150k.

My first car was an 85 5.0 CFI car. I loved every second of it. Man, I need to finish up my Mustang so I can get a clean 'bird.

seems too good to be true... could just be the price that's scaring me away! 3000 is alot for a bird in my opinion.

I didn't know that cars with the consollette got the non-wood grain dash trim.

My zero-option 85 V6 'Bird had the "brushed stainless" dash. In fact the only Fox car I've owned that had woodgrain was the 88 Cougar

So I'm curious. What was special about the 30th anny Thunderbirds? They weren't some po deal like the 25th anny Mustangs were they?

Nothing real special.Fully dressed like an Elan,suspension from the turbo coupe,special color and badges,limited production.
